About this Role:
We are looking for a Grade 1–2 Pharmacist to work in a regional Victorian hospital on a permanent, full-time basis. This position is ideal for early-career or mid-level hospital pharmacists ready to deliver high-quality clinical care across multiple wards while working with a supportive pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensary Services: Accurately review and process medication orders, counsel patients, and support medication safety initiatives.
- Ward-Based Clinical Care: Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds, manage medication histories, monitor therapies, and facilitate safe discharge processes.
- Team Collaboration & Development: Work closely with colleagues, mentor junior staff and students, and contribute to pharmacy education and quality improvement projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Hospital experience preferred; community pharmacists considered if committed to long-term hospital work.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Awareness of regional living, current immunisation records, and National Police Check.
